The call for the Ammar festival was published


According to Fars news agency, the secretariat of Ammar People’s Film Festival announced the call for the “fourteenth” period of this film event in five sections: “Main Competition of the Festival”, “People’s Awards”, “Our Film”, “People’s Screening” and “Our Story”.

In the “main competition of the festival” section, received works in the formats of fiction, documentary, animation, music video, television productions, virtual space productions, screenplays, films and screenplays in the topics of “New World Order”, “Iranian Dream”, “Interdiscourse Criticism” “National Memory”, “Economic War”, “Soft War”, “Heroic Nation”, “Global Movement of the Oppressed” and “Arman Ruhollah” compete together.

Based on this call, artists have until November 20th to register their work in the festival database at Fanoos.AmmarFilm.ir and deliver their work to the festival secretariat.

Invitation to the 14th Ammar People’s Film Festival

Based on the discourse of the Islamic revolution, art and artists cannot be indifferent and neutral towards the realities and needs of their surrounding society. In his message to the artists, the venerable imam mentions this point that “art in the school of love shows the blind and ambiguous points of social, economic, political, and military problems.” Paying attention to this characteristic of revolutionary art requires that revolutionary artists have an up-to-date and comprehensive picture of the strengths and weaknesses as well as the capacities and threats facing their society by constantly monitoring the front of right and wrong.

In the conditions of the formation of the new world order, the decline of some superpowers such as the United States and their efforts to prevent the change of global relations, the rise of nations and the authority of the Iranian nation as a result of the Islamic Revolution, the art of the revolution must be the field of transformation in the country and the world. The art of the revolution should represent the ugly face of injustice and pervasive oppression in the structure of the old order and the evangelist of the new order consisting of the will and identity of the nations, an order based on the desire for independence, justice, freedom, progress, spirituality and unity and brotherhood. “Ammar Film People’s Festival” as the platform of the Muslim and revolutionary people of Iran and the art arising from their identity and ideals, sees itself as a task to shape the new world order, expose and expose the liberal democratic system, the narrative of the progress and leap of the Iranian nation and the transformation in The internal and external structures of the country should play a role.

Ammar People’s Film Festival is proud that for many years it was led by someone who has been a pioneer in the production of artistic and media works with this approach. b) “Our Film” section (people’s content production movement)

In this section, the general public, especially teenagers, can use any type of camera or mobile phone to make videos of the subjects of their life and participate in the competition. c) Public screening

People’s screenings are one of the main pillars of the people’s film festival of Ammar, during which people’s spontaneous forces throughout the country try to get people’s films and works to be seen. Public screening of Ammar Festival is a strategic idea to improve the quality and quantity of filmmaking and cinema of the Islamic Revolution and prevent its deviation. Based on this, so far the films of Ammar festival have been shown in popular environments. Also, a large number of people have participated in financial support, media support, providing space or equipment for public screenings, identifying subjects or criticizing works.

The Secretariat of Ammar People’s Film Festival, while appreciating all those who have so far borne the burden of public screenings without any expectations, invites the general public, cultural activists, students, students, imams of mosques and anyone who has the opportunity to show films to the people. Filmmakers pursue people’s issues in the form of “subjects and stories that can be turned into movies”. The secretariat of the festival invites the general public to register their subjects in the treasury of popular subjects on the festival website and to suggest the cinematographers to create works of art. The secretariat of the festival allocates prizes to the best proposed subjects.

e) People’s awards

With the aim of bringing film productions closer to people’s lives and real concerns, the Ammar Film People’s Festival has started the “Call for People’s Awards” section from the ninth edition of the festival. In this period as well, the festival invites all audiences (people’s organizations, institutions and real people) to ask the cinematographers for their desired topics and concerns in the field of production, in the form of a call, and to give a material gift to the filmmakers who have produced the best work on these topics. Regulations of the competitive sector:

To participate in the festival, it is necessary to register the work on AmmarFilm.ir and receive the tracking code from this system.

The owners of the film works must deliver the high-quality copies of the works to the festival secretariat in physical form (sending by mail or in person to the secretariat) or in virtual form (putting the link to download the work in the registration form).

The registered works must not have participated in the previous periods of the festival.

The films sent to the secretariat must have 264 format (at least 1080×1920 dimensions). (how to prepare the mentioned output here)

It is the registrant’s responsibility to obtain approval from the producer to participate in the festival.

The secretariat of the festival, sensitive to the preservation of the works, is free to screen them in January and February 1402 throughout the country. Also, if the filmmaker declares his consent in the registration form, the secretariat has the possibility of public screening of the works throughout the year.
