According to Mehr reporter, Asghar Bagherzadeh said at the opening of the 8th Qur’an, Atrat, and Prayer competitions of scholars from all over the country in Mashhad, that the competition of scholars in Quran and Atrat competitions is an opportunity to promote the importance of the Qur’an and spread it in schools.
The vice-chancellor of education and culture of the Ministry of Education stated: In the eighth edition of the Qur’an, Atrat and Namaz competitions of educators, more than 300 teachers compete with each other in five disciplines.
He added: This competition among educators is an educational opportunity and a sign of the special importance of the Quran in schools, as well as a suitable platform for its expansion at the school level. We humans need to continuously expand our level of knowledge.
Bagherzadeh continued: The effort of education is to create educational and Quranic programs and situations in schools during the academic year. One of these programs is the Quran, Atrat and Namaz competitions.
The vice-chancellor of education and culture of the Ministry of Education stated: By providing conditions for the expansion of familiarity with the Qur’an among teachers, education leads them to learn and teach the Qur’an to students.
He clarified: In addition to the knowledge they receive from the teacher’s speech and teaching, students remember a more important part of it by observing the teacher’s behavior. Therefore, if educators learn the teachings of the Qur’an well, they will have a more instructive life for teenagers.
