The Core i7 1370P laptop processor was spotted on Geekbench

Until this moment, all the information that has been released about Intel’s 13th generation Raptor Lake laptop processors have been related to the H/HK/HX series, which are high-end processors for gaming and content production laptops. But this time, the specifications of a low-power processor from the P-series 28 W processor for Core i7 1370P laptop It’s been published. P series processors are used in very thin ultrabooks or high-end Windows tablets.
Core i7 1370P processor specifications
According to information recently published on the Geekbench database, the Core i7 1370P processor has been spotted on a device from Dynabook (a laptop maker formerly owned by Toshiba). This device was definitely a portable device, but its exact nature and model are not known. But since Dynabooks doesn’t make tablets or mini-systems at all, this device is most likely a laptop.
According to the Geekbench database, the Core i7 1370P processor is a 14-core, 20-thread processor, and its core configuration is the same as the Core i7 1280P processor. Technically, this processor is simply an improved version of the 1280P processor with new Raptor Cove P cores with more cache. In terms of frequency, this processor reaches a maximum incremental frequency of 5.0 GHz, which is 200 MHz more than the maximum frequency of the previous generation. Of course, the base frequency of this processor has decreased by about 300 MHz compared to the i7 1270P processor.

Regarding the technical performance, we must say that the published information is not enough to make a proper comparison. Unfortunately, none of the 12th generation P series processors are officially present on the Geekbench ranking. The reason for this issue is that many different devices use these processors and due to the phenomenon of thermal bottleneck, the performance of this processor is different on each type of device. Nevertheless, due to the same two Gracemont cores added to the platform of this new processor, it can be said with certainty that the multi-core performance of this processor will have a good improvement compared to the previous generation.
Intel officially introduced the 12th generation P series processors on January 4 this year; So we can assume that the new generation processors of this series will also be introduced one year later during the CES 2023 event.
