The council asked the municipality to help the mosques in the capital

According to Fars News Agency’s urban correspondent, Seyed Ahmad Alavi, a member of the Tehran City Council, stated in the courtyard of the city council today about the need to help mosques: A similar credit was approved to help schools.

He added: “The allocation of this credit was conditional on the submission of instructions by the cultural and social deputy to the commissions for approval and implementation, and no action has been taken to date.”

According to a member of the Cultural and Social Commission, the necessary cases regarding schools have been received and approved by the commissions, but the same measures have not been taken regarding mosques. It is now the end of the year and again the opportunity is lost.

Referring to the lack of liquidity, a member of the sixth council of Tehran said: “We understand this issue, but why no action has been taken regarding the mosques that were destroyed to build the Imam Ali (AS) highway to be rebuilt and approved by the council itself?”

Citing examples of these mosques, he added: “We have been destroying Adineh, Hojjat and مس mosques for about 9 years, but we have not taken any action to build them.”

Alavi pointed out: I believe that in the last 3 months, the cultural and social deputy could have entered the issue, but it has not.
