According to the report of Fars news agency’s city group, Alireza Javid said on the sidelines of the 129th meeting of the Islamic Council of Tehran, stating that the support of snow removal is the responsibility of the mayors of the regions, he stated: the main snow removal contracts are concluded by the waste organization and the municipalities of the regions should be under Supervise and follow up the deputy city services to perform their duties.

He added: The municipalities of the 22 regions have the duty to use their potential and the capacity of other organizations and companies to manage the situation.
Stating that we have heavy traffic at this hour on normal days, Javed said: We also see some increase on rainy days, which will increase when it snows.
Deputy Director of Coordination and Regional Affairs of Tehran Municipality, stating that 8 regions were more exposed to snow on Thursday, reminded: In regions 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 21 and 22, there was snow on Thursday, which continued from morning to night. He added: We also had problems on the roof of Tehran and above Koi Faraz and Saadat Abad, including the 24-meter Saadat Abad, but we didn’t have much of a problem in area one. However, problems arose in parts of Zafaranieh, Derke and Darband due to the slope and immediate freezing.
Stating that coordination meetings were held on Friday and Saturday, Javed said: coordination was done with the group of agents related to snow removal, centered on the deputy city services, and we hope to see more effectiveness in today’s heavy snow.
He emphasized: We are currently working on the text, and in the executive discussion, there will be no room for changes. We should let the operation finish and then we will evaluate this year’s snow removal process. After monitoring the cases where the colleagues were negligent, it will be counted to deal with those who were at fault. You have to wait for the process to finish and the inspection organization to monitor it.
Emphasizing that today the deputy director of urban services of the municipality apologized for causing trouble to the citizens, he said: I also apologize to the citizens who were challenged by the traffic and freezing and reached their destination late.
