According to Fars News Agency’s Urban Group, Hassan Mohammad Hassanzadeh, CEO of Tehran Municipality’s Real Estate and Real Estate Organization, said about the benefits of offering municipal properties in the commodity exchange: Commodity exchange mechanisms help to increase transparency and efficiency in real estate sales.

He added: According to the budget approved by the city’s Islamic Council, Tehran Municipality must obtain 10% of its income by selling real estate, and the share of the real estate organization in the budget is set to this amount.

The CEO of Tehran Municipality Real Estate Organization stated that in the past, real estate sales were done through clearing with creditors and auctions, and clarified: In the period of new urban management, we use a new tool called the stock market to sell real estate, because our presence in the stock market The goods will increase transparency and discover the real price of the property.

He stated: Also, in the fourth plan, the municipality was obliged to enter the commodity exchange; But until this period of urban management, this issue was not paid attention to, and now, by using the commodity exchange as one of the sales methods, we intend to acquire a part of our non-cash obligations in this way.

Hassanzadeh stated that in the auction method, if the auction is not completed for any reason, we have to wait for several months for the processes to go through. Also, in the commodity exchange, the document must be transferred to the name of the buyer within three months at most.

The CEO of Tehran Municipality’s Real Estate Organization continued by stating that for the first time, municipal creditors and contractors can participate in this offering and buy property up to the amount of the registered firm demand, and stated: Tehran Municipality, by entering the commodity exchange, in addition to promoting Transparency also helps to protect the property of the city and citizens, because the property specifications and the final price are recorded on the board and everyone can monitor the condition of the property.
