Theater News Base: The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and the ABC Network announced on Friday, May 13, that the 95th Academy Awards will be held on March 12, 2023.
This is the second year in a row that the Academy Awards will be held in March. The ceremony took place on March 27. The 95th Academy Awards will be broadcast live from the Dolby Theater in Hollywood on the IBS network in more than 200 regions around the world.
The deadline for submissions for the 2023 Academy Awards is November 15. Preliminary voting for the upcoming Oscars begins on December 12, and the shortlist will be announced in several sections on December 21.
The voting process will take place between January 12 and 17, 2023. The candidates will be announced on January 24, 2023 and the final voting will take place between March 2 and 7, 2023.
