The deep recession in the car market / car transactions reached zero

According to Tejarat News, the plan to organize the industry car He was in traffic between the parliament and the Guardian Council several times, and was checked by the Guardian Council on September 22nd. Members of the Guardian Council were skeptical of the resolution in some cases. For example, there was ambiguity about “imports without currency transfers” because it involved a variety of methods, and parliament was asked to make the issue a little more precise and transparent.

The plan, which still has an unknown fate and has been opposed by the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade, as well as some members of the Expediency Council, has caused a severe recession in the car market these days and there is no news of sales.

In this regard, “Cyrus Tawan”, an exhibitor in the north of the capital, said: “The issue of importing cars into the country, although in an aura of ambiguity, but led to a complete recession in the market of these cars.”

“Right now, with the exception of a few deals made by people in need of money, the market is down to zero,” he said.

The foreign car market activist noted: “After a five to 10 percent drop in the price of foreign cars, which has occurred since the introduction of the possibility of liberalizing car imports, prices have remained stable and have not changed.”

Another exhibitor said that the Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade had taken a stand stating that “it is wrong to import cars by the end of the year because a large amount of foreign exchange resources are involved and the price of currency increases”, at least until the end of this year. There will be no news.

He added: “Contrary to rumors, it does not seem to agree with the import of used and second-hand cars to the country.”

Explaining the reason for this statement, the car market expert explained: “The factory price of zero-kilometer foreign cars is clear and the government can collect customs duties and taxes based on it, but we do not face such conditions for used cars and price verification.” It is not easily possible for the buyer to pay for it.

He stressed: “The market is in a deeper recession these days, because buyers are waiting to see the results of the plan to reorganize the automotive industry and, above all, the import of cars into the country between the Guardian Council and the Islamic Consultative Assembly.”
