Before the reopening of schools, nearly 500 buses from the private sector, that is, municipal buses, will be improved and renovated. We are also trying to refurbish 500 private sector buses with the subsidy we give and enter them into the fleet.

He answered the question that this year there is a plan to change the bus lines in the capital or not? He also stated: We also made plans for the engineering of the lines. The start of the engineering of the lines will be done from the first of July, with the transfer of a number of buses from stations with low traffic and few passengers.

Stating that we use minibuses instead of buses at these stations, Alizadeh noted: We will add 62 minibuses to the line engineering fleet and transfer 57 buses to high-passenger lines. Such distances are less in high-traffic lines.

The CEO of the bus unit company added: By the end of the year, we will move 300 buses to high-traffic routes with route engineering.

In the end, he promised the arrival of 3,000 buses to the bus fleet this year and said: “We intend to add 2,000 domestically produced buses and 1,000 foreign buses to the capital’s bus lines, provided that credit resources are provided.”
