The equipment of the Red Crescent relief bases is being updated

According to the Fars News Agency’s community group, Yaghoub Soleimani, Secretary General of the Red Crescent Society, on the eve of Eid al-Fitr, visited the Shahid Shirmohammadi Road Rescue Base (Gordeneh Ghoochak) and talked with the base’s rescuers in a friendly and cordial atmosphere.

During the visit, Soleimani told the Red Crescent aid workers throughout the country not to get tired and stressed: “Serving in the Red Crescent of the Islamic Republic is different from serving in other organizations. The Red Crescent population loves the service due to its extensive duties.”

Referring to the location of Gardeneh Ghochak base, the Secretary General of the Red Crescent Society said: “Considering the numerous incidents that occur in Shemiranat city, the location of this base is an important and sensitive situation and the existence of this base in this area is a source of calm for the people.”

Soleimani added: “The Red Crescent causes peace in the society. In the story of the recent floods, people said that when we see the cover of the Red Crescent and the aid workers, we feel calm.”

The Secretary General of the Red Crescent Society stated: “One of the most important missions of this society is to create a platform to use the creation of maps and the help of the people and the capacity of donors to cause the further growth of the Red Crescent Society.”
