According to Mehr reporter, the 4th round of educational activists centered on Iran’s center of roundtables and educational justice camp and equal educational opportunity was held this evening in Shahid Bahonar camp.

Hamidreza Khan Mohammadi, advisor to the Minister of Education in this period, stating that the issue of justice is very sensitive; He said: “Some people neither take any action nor make an effort for educational justice and only use the media to destroy the actions taken.”

He stated that we intend to use both students and educators to realize educational justice; He said: In the system that will be launched in December, the position of educational activists across the country will be shown so that the necessary synergy between educational justice activists across the country will be launched.

Khan Mohammadi considered internal cohesion and unity with activists outside the camp to be essential and said: There are many educational activists outside the camp complex, and it is necessary for the educational justice activist group to benefit from their capacities by communicating with them.

In this session, educational activists from various institutions and centers attended this session.

Hamidreza Amiri, the author of textbooks, stating that it is wrong to limit the issue of educational justice to the selection of the best students in the entrance exam; He said: If we build good schools in the country and do not have the problem of educational space, but do not have good teachers; Educational justice does not become researchers. The most important link in the realization of educational justice is the training of skilled and quality teachers.

Amiri, stating that the entrance exam designed by the Ministry of Science; It is far from educational justice; He said: As long as the exam is in the hands of the Ministry of Science; We are always challenged.

The author of the textbooks added: The main challenge for us and the Ministry of Science is the number of tests that are outside the textbooks, and the same number of tests plays a role in the selection of the exam winners. These are the tests outside the textbook that the exam centers advertise their actions despite.

In another part of the meeting, the importance of educational justice as a text of the constitution was also mentioned, and it was emphasized that when the ratio of those admitted to the entrance exam to the population of each province, there is a significant difference in the provinces of the country; Educational justice will not be achieved.

Sajjad Esme Hosseini, the secretary of Iran’s conferences, referring to the holding of the fourth conference, said: The fourth conference of educational justice activists will be held with two goals. The first goal of holding this seminar is to get to know the activists and those who are concerned in the field of educational justice and to build a network among them.

Esme Hosseini considered the second goal of holding the fourth semester to examine the changes in the entrance exam and its relationship with the realization of educational justice and said: the initial sessions of the semesters are held in studios, and with the end of the corona situation, we were able to continue the sessions on a topical and face-to-face basis.
