Maryam Ardabili, a family expert, said in an interview with Mehr: “The story of marriage is closely related to our view of what family is.” If we want to look at marriage in the dimension of modern governments, it will become a side issue along with other concepts such as culture, economy, etc., which are not the focus of political and social issues.
He added: “But if we look at the family as a unit for solving the country’s social problems, then the family will be the center of many things, and with this focus, social harms, resistance economy and other problems of society will be solved.”
Ardabili added: “In fact, when the family becomes a subsidiary, the government sums up its efforts to help it form a loan.” But if we are to think about the real facilitation of marriage and helping it to grow significantly, we must put the family at the center of the country’s actions and policies.
The family expert said: “Unfortunately, the law in our country is neutral towards the institution of the family and is practically person-centered.” If our governance model is family-oriented, then we will see the development of governance based on successful and timely marriages, which will result in the development of healthy people for comprehensive growth. Unfortunately, in our country, there is no family-centered view.
“In the past, young people knew that with marriage they would grow in identity, independence and in general,” he said, referring to the changing attitudes of families and society towards marriage. But today, this view has changed and many families believe that the growth of children and young people in pursuing higher education and achieving the highest level of employment. Actually Children ‘s success indicators and lifestyle have changed, which has led to the postponement of marriage.
The family researcher said: “If we want to move forward with the global model and take marriage out of the policies and governance of the country, in the near future we will be similar to many European countries and have faced alarming declining marriage rates and increased social harm.” .
He added: “Given the global situation and human progress, to prevent the crisis of marriage decline, we must be able to restore the family’s past performance and representation and include the family in social structures.”
Ardabili continued: “In fact, the family function and communication in the family should grow and improve to such an extent that people are more willing to attend this institution and form it.”
The family expert emphasized: Managers should include this view in their policies and governance and see new glasses with a family-centered law enforcement approach.
