In an interview with Mehr reporter, Vahid Hulusi said: The fertility rate in the country is 1.67%, while the replacement rate is also 2.1%.

The Director General of Civil Registry of Ardabil province announced the lowest fertility rate in Sareen and said: Fertility rate in Sareen is less than five tenths of percent.

He also mentioned the registration of vital events and continued: Ardabil province has achieved the third rank in the country in the registration of vital events, especially marriage registration.
In another part of his speech, Hulusi noted: Ardabil province ranks 12th in divorce registration and 22nd in death registration.
He reminded the need of families to take timely action in registering vital events, especially death and divorce, and added: With the cooperation of governorates and the assistance of various institutions, we are trying to register vital events in less than 48 hours so that we can create suitable conditions. to witness in the country in these fields.
Hulusi pointed to the declining population and the announcement of population youth policies and said: The main driving factor in population growth and growth in this area is to pay attention to the improvement of people’s livelihood, and effective measures should be taken in this area.
