The fifth congress of the history of architecture and urban planning of Iran will be held
According to the report of Aria Heritage, the Vice-Chancellor of Cultural Heritage, in partnership with the Research Institute of Cultural Heritage and Tourism and educational, scientific and research institutions of the country, is organizing the Congress of the History of Architecture and Urban Planning of Iran.
This congress will be held on the 20th anniversary of the Bam earthquake with the focus on “knowing the standards, values and indicators of Iranian Islamic architecture and urban planning” with the aim of achieving what, why and how this architecture is and laying the groundwork for the continuity of its values and indicators in contemporary life.
Establishing the context and achieving national synergy and clarifying the related responsibilities for the continuation of valuable examples of architecture and urban planning are among the great goals of the 5th Congress of the History of Architecture and Urban Planning of Iran.
In this regard, according to the decrees of Ali Darabi, Deputy Minister and Deputy Minister of Cultural Heritage of the country, Fatemeh Davari was introduced as the Scientific Secretary of the Congress and Fereydoun Faghani as the Executive and Coordination Secretary of the Congress.
