The 21st edition of the Asian Men’s Volleyball Championship will be hosted by Japan from September 21 to 28 in Chiba.
The final registration of the Iranian national volleyball team, which arrived in the city last night and stayed at the hotel where the participating teams were staying, was done at 10:00 AM Japanese time today.
To register the Iranian team, all the required documents of the team, including players’ passports, samples of team uniforms, medical records and anti-doping of players, as well as O2-bis list and negative test of members of the Iranian volleyball convoy were provided to the control committee officials.
Before being sent to Japan, the Iranian team had asked the host for a weight room for today so that the nationalists could prepare their bodies after a long journey, which unfortunately was not provided by the host. Therefore, the Iranian national team will do their first ball training in Chiba this evening.
As the defending champions, the Iranian national volleyball team is in Group B of the Asian Men’s Volleyball Championship with Pakistan, Thailand and Hong Kong.
