The first 1700-seat cruise ship of the Qatar World Cup arrived in the port of Bushehr
“In the next few days, with the presence of the Minister of Tourism, the first cruise of the country purchased from France from Bushehr in the waters of the Persian Gulf with a capacity of 1700 people will be unveiled,” said the director general of the Ministry of Tourism.
According to Heritage Aria and quoting the shipping of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mostafa Fatemi stated: “Recently, in order to remove some obstacles and facilitate the launch of the country’s first cruise, a delegation of experts from the Ministry of Heritage, Culture and Tourism visited this ship “We brought it.”
“During this visit, it was found that this large ship needs a high amount of fuel, which with the approval of granting fuel subsidies to pleasure boats licensed by the Ministry of Heritage, the fuel problem of this ship to begin,” said the director general of the domestic tourism office of the Ministry of Heritage “Work in the waters of the Persian Gulf is now over.”
“It has a capacity of 1,700 tourists and 700 passenger cars,” he said, noting that the cruise ship was purchased by a French private investor.
According to the official at the Ministry of Heritage, Culture, Tourism and Handicrafts, the French ship with 9 floors also has the luxury of accommodating 520 tourists per night on each voyage.
“The cruise ship is also equipped with a restaurant, gym, cinema and other amenities,” Fatemi acknowledged.
“According to ongoing plans, the ship is scheduled to provide cruise services to tourists on various routes, including the coastal route of Khuzestan, Bandar Abbas and Chabahar,” said the director general of the internal tourism office of the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Handicrafts.
“The necessary arrangements are being made for the ship to make international trips,” he said, referring to the French cruise’s ability to travel internationally.
“Undoubtedly, using this ship, many tourists can be brought to Iran from Qatar,” the official said, adding that one of the most important goals of launching the ship was to travel and sail to Qatar during the World Cup.
“There is also the possibility of Iranian tourists interested in watching the Qatar World Cup using this ship, in which case it will bring a cheaper trip for Iranians,” Fatemi noted.
“According to the preparations made, in the next few days we will see the launch of the French cruise ship in Bushehr with the presence of senior officials, including the Minister of Heritage, Culture and Handicrafts,” said the official at the Ministry of Heritage, Culture and Handicrafts.
He called the launch of the cruise ship in the waters of the Persian Gulf a turning point in the country’s maritime tourism and said: “We hope to see the evolution of the country’s maritime tourism industry in the near future with the increase in the arrival of large and small pleasure boats in the Persian Gulf.”
