The first deputy of the judiciary left for India

According to Fars news agency’s judicial group, Hojjat-ul-Islam Mohammad Mossadegh, the first deputy of the judicial branch, left for New Delhi at the head of a delegation to participate in the judicial meeting of the member countries of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
The 2023 judicial summit of the member countries of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization will be held in New Delhi on Friday and Saturday with the presence of the heads of the judiciary of the member countries.
In this meeting, issues such as the process of access to justice, intelligentization of proceedings, challenges and problems of the judicial system of countries are discussed.
Mohammad Kazemi Fard, head of the Statistics and Information Technology Center of the Judiciary, also accompanies the first deputy of the Judiciary in this trip.
The 2022 meeting of this organization was held in Tajikistan and the Islamic Republic of Iran participated in that meeting as an observer member.
With the approval of the membership documents of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization by the Islamic Council, the membership process of our country in this organization is being finalized. Considering the type and scope of the obligations of the members in various security and judicial fields, including the fight against terrorism, law enforcement, protection of human rights, the fight against smuggling and illegal immigration and other transnational organized crimes and the necessity of judicial cooperation in these fields, the role of the institution Judiciary is very important and vital in the implementation of the obligations of the members of this organization.
