According to the urban reporter of Fars news agency, the members of the Tehran city council had comments and discussions in the hall of the city council today regarding the holding of the international conference on investment opportunities.

Mehdi Chamran, Chairman of Tehran City Council, referring to the good reception of the investors from the international investment opportunities conference, stated: We request the financial and economic deputy to submit a written report about this conference, which was held in reality and with the presence of investors.

He said: The municipality should supervise the projects during the implementation of the work and prevent such violations.

Ali Asghar Qaemi, a member of Tehran City Council, also stated: Holding the international conference on investment opportunities was a good and positive action, and we need to strengthen the bus and metro fleet by using the capacity of the private sector.

He continued: “Technical and economic studies that have a valid signature were not visible in some investment opportunities, which we request to be introduced based on documents with valid signatures so that investors can safely enter the investment, but in general, holding this The event was a positive action that we hope will continue.

Habib Kashani, another member of the Tehran City Council, said that holding a 10-kilometer party was a good event and said: All the departments brought themselves to the field in yesterday’s program in the direction of their beliefs and convictions. This event was not limited to Valiasr Street, but we also saw ceremonies held in other areas and parks.

He informed about the presence of people from other provinces in this ceremony and added: the crowd present in Valiasr Street was large and from 20:30 it was announced that no more people will attend the celebration because there is no space available.

Kashani stated that a report should be presented by the mayor regarding the results of the conference on investment opportunities, and said: People should know what benefit this conference will bring in different sectors from the investment in the city.

Nasser Amani, a member of Tehran City Council, referring to the problems of the people of District 19, said: In the last 10 months, three mayors have changed in this district and this complaint is correct.

He emphasized: We have many forces in the municipality and the people demand that local forces be used in the region. We request the mayor of Tehran to appoint a non-removable mayor for region 19 as soon as possible.

While supporting the rights of the employees, the member of the Tehran City Council mentioned: People are unhappy and they attack the officials when they see them. It was announced in the government that the salaries of government employees would be increased by 10%, but out of the 12,000 employees of the Tehran Municipality, 2,000 people did not receive a salary increase of even one rial.

Amani added: The salary increase of municipal employees was not appropriate. We ask the mayor to seriously raise the problem of employee salaries in the government board and follow up on the increase of employees’ special salaries. The municipality has accepted the financial burden of this measure and does not have any burden on the government, so we ask the mayor of Tehran to seriously follow up on the government’s request for a license for these measures.

Mehdi Ekhararian, head of the monitoring and legal commission of the Islamic Council of Tehran, while expressing his hope for the creation of an Alavi city in the capital, said: Alavi city is a city with a small distance between north and south, and we hope that this issue will be realized in the sixth period of urban management.

Referring to the holding of the international conference on investment opportunities, he noted: Currently, the Tehran Municipal Investment Organization is facing many legal challenges, and the collaborative projects of the past periods are one of these problems.

Akhararian continued: The contracting party is not allowed to transfer a part of it to others, but due to the existence of a legal loophole or ignorance of the citizens, they have purchased a part of the project from the participant with the municipality, while the participant was not allowed to sell. Our demand is that there should be enough information in this field so that the pre-sale of the projects is not done by the participants at a low price.
