The second exhibition of small and medium industries capabilities of Lorestan province was inaugurated in the presence of the Deputy Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade.

Creating the necessary conditions for the presence of small and medium industries in exhibitions abroad

Deputy Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade at the opening ceremony of the second Lorestan Small and Medium Industries Capabilities Exhibition, announced the support of this ministry for the active presence of Iranian producers in international and foreign exhibitions.

Ali Rasoulian, pointing out that 97% of the country’s industry in terms of a number of small, small and medium industries, said: Most of the country’s employment is provided by small and medium enterprises.

He added: “Fortunately, in the difficult conditions of sanctions and the corona, small and medium-sized industries have played an important role, and many artisans have produced the needs of the country inside towns and industrial areas to reduce dependence on foreigners.”

The chairman and managing director of the Small Industries and Industrial Towns Organization of Iran added: “Many of the goods that were imported in the past are now being produced by domestic producers.”

Rasoulian continued: “More than 39,000 industrial and production units offer their goods in various exhibitions in the country every year, which leads to the marketing of these small, small and medium units.”

According to him, this process will continue and the necessary conditions have been provided even for the presence of small and medium industries in exhibitions abroad.

The Deputy Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade stated: “The exhibition that opened today is a very good exhibition in order to increase production, marketing and interaction between economic enterprises, and expect this level of production in various sectors of industry, handicrafts and.” We did not have .. in Lorestan.

Rasoulian said: “In this exhibition, we are witnessing the supply of capabilities of the carpet business cluster, which can improve the level of technology, production and sales of Iranian products.”

He emphasized: “We intend to continue this process at the national level and even provide serious support for our presence abroad so that producers can actively participate in international and foreign exhibitions.”

In another part of his speech, the Chairman and CEO of the Small Industries and Industrial Towns Organization of Iran stated: This year, 10,000 hectares of industrial towns in low-income areas that need investment will be added in the form of development and creation of new towns.

Rasoulian added: “Also, due to the increasing demand for investment in the country and considering that in talented areas that are deprived of the necessary infrastructure for some reason, support for small and medium industries will increase.”

He added that this year 1600 stagnant industrial units in the towns and industrial areas of the country will return to the production cycle, adding: so far 840 stagnant industrial units have been revived with the help of working groups to facilitate and remove barriers to production in the provinces and the rest according to monitoring In the form of business clinics and facilities that will resume their activities in the form of the “Tom” plan, Note (18) and resources that will be injected through the Small Industries Organization and Industrial Estates.

The Deputy Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade continued: “Our estimates are that the level of exploitation of industrial projects in the towns and industrial areas of the country is increasing.”

Rasoulian added: “At the beginning of this year, there were 3,200 projects, but today there are more than 4,300 projects in towns and industrial areas, and they are in the process of installing machinery. We hope that at least 70% of these projects will be operational by the end of the year.”

He said: “Only 10% of industrial projects under construction need facilities, and most of them are done through the participation of new investors. We try to provide industrial investors with the process of completing semi-finished projects with good progress in production.” And lead to sustainable employment.
