Najarzadeh has a doctorate degree in economics, majoring in money and Islamic banking. Najarzadeh was one of the managers of the banking system and had various responsibilities in the Central Bank, Sanat and Mine Bank and the National Development Fund of the country.

Before that, he was the deputy head of the National Bank of Iran.

Previously, Mohammad Reza Farzin was the managing director of the National Bank of Iran, who was recently appointed as the head of the Central Bank of the Islamic Republic of Iran with the approval of the government.
