He said: “The financial resources were ready to complete this charitable and humanitarian project, but the location of these financial resources was blocked by Mr. Ghani’s government under the pretext of US sanctions, and now we are consulting to solve this problem.”

Mortazavi also referred to the presence of Iranian employees of this project and said: “Unfortunately, in the past, they had created problems for discussing the issuance of visas and the movement of these loved ones.

The Deputy Embassy of our country also expressed hope that with the completion of the process of clearance of medical equipment in the Afghan Customs, we will soon see the operation of this project.

Qalandar Ebad, Acting Minister of Health of Afghanistan, also referred to the assistance of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the people of Afghanistan and said: The construction of this hospital in Bamyan and for the deprived people of this region is a worthy and good action by the Islamic Republic of Iran to meet the health needs of the people. Confirming the existence of some obstacles on the way to completing this project, he said: “We declare our readiness to remove obstacles and help facilitate the process of completing this hospital, and we hope to see the operation of this medical center in the near future.”
