For this reason, the festival chose the beginning of this name, and we deliberately did not want any specific organization to be directly involved in the organization of this festival, and our intention was to have a beginning with the youth themselves, and we tried to hold this festival in the first and second stages. He said: In this festival, we tried to use young directors and actors. I will not mention the names of the judges of the festival, but I will mention that they are definitely young artists and professors with high degrees. Our effort is to invite artists who are at different levels. We have invited theaters to definitely participate in this festival and by all means, if they are not selected by the judges, they can perform in other theaters in the city.

In the continuation of this press conference, Amir Musa Kazemi, the secretary of the first drama festival “Ham Al-Azam” said: I am happy that we started the first festival in 2024. About 220 designs were sent during the call, and as a result, we reviewed 160 works. Following the reviews, we selected 50 works for review.

He added: In another call that the city theater group had called the first ones, 150 works were received there and among them we selected 10 works for the festival and as a result we had 60 selected works.

Kazemi clarified: As the directors themselves know, from December 7th to 16th, we had an intensive review of the works in the city theater and it was decided to have 20 works on the festival schedule. In the meantime, we had other works that were not included in the call. We tried to check them and if something was good, we chose it as a guest performance. As a result, we have performed 20 works in the festival and one guest work, which will be performed from 16 to 26 January, and we hope that 10 works will be performed by the public.
He added: It is necessary to mention that it was the children’s own request that the festival would be more competitive, but the festival was competitive and the prize was the performance in Qashqai Hall. But we wanted to make the festival competitive in different sectors.
