According to Fars News Agency’s Salamat reporter, Pirhossein Koulivand, head of the Red Crescent Society, in a video conference press conference from Makkah, referring to the latest situation of the Iranian pilgrims in the House of God, said: All the pilgrims performed the Hajj in complete health. Only one patient could not perform Hajj.
He continued: More than 470,000 medical services were provided to the pilgrims of the House of God, and 1,864 patients were admitted to Red Crescent Hospital and 304 patients were admitted to Saudi hospitals.
The head of Red Crescent Society stated that 371,000 general and specialized visits were offered to pilgrims; In addition, 25,757 specialized visits were made in the hospital.
Stating that more than 85% of the patients were satisfied, Kolivand said: Field hospitals were active in Mena and Arafat.
He announced the activity of the ambulance bus and stated: About 80 people in need of special services were performed under intensive medical care.
The head of the Red Crescent Society stated: We held meetings with delegations from other countries, and they welcomed the Red Crescent Hajj Medical Center as a model and requested that the Health Congress be held during the Hajj in Iran.
Referring to the interesting presence of a doctor in the hotels of Iranian pilgrims for other officials of the country, Kolivand noted: He also mentioned the pilgrims who volunteered to help us as one of the new things in this year’s Hajj.
He continued: Tonight, 25 pilgrims will be sent to the country to receive more medical services through Jeddah to Tehran flight.
The head of the Red Crescent said that 26 surgeries were performed during this year’s Hajj and clarified: 16 patients underwent dialysis.
Stating that the return flights of pilgrims will continue until August 3, he emphasized that there is no shortage of medicine for Iranian pilgrims in this year’s Hajj.
Koulivand said: This year we received good facilities from Saudi Arabia; So that they provided the necessary services to the patients quickly and accepted the order and diagnosis of our doctors. Also, none of our dialysis patients were in the queue to receive services; They also provided us with a helicopter.
The head of the Red Crescent Society announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding with Saudi Arabia in the future and said that the number of deaths in this year’s Hajj was less than in previous years.
Saeed Ohadi, the special assistant to the head of the Red Crescent Society, also stated in the continuation of this meeting: Every year, a number of doctors go to Hajj, but this year, before the visit, 340 people volunteered to cooperate with us in 381 caravans.
He said: We had nurses who provided the best conditions for performing Hajj alongside the medical staff.

He said: Hajj operation is a diverse set of activities that are carried out in critical conditions.
Seyyed Ali Marashi, head of Red Crescent Hajj and Pilgrimage Medical Center, said that this year in Mena we had a death due to the heat, and reminded: 1450 heat stroke patients were treated and 160 heat stroke patients were admitted to the hospital.
