The loan of 200 million for rural housing was conditional

According to Iran Economist, according to the evidence, the officials of the Program and Budget Organization have made the payment of 200 million tomans facilities for the construction of rural housing with an interest rate of 5% dependent on the consolidation of credits in the National Housing Fund.

The National Housing Fund was established after the approval of the Law on the Leaps of Housing Production and Supply in August of last year, which was supposed to be provided by means of taxes in the field of housing and construction. A few days ago, Rostam Ghasemi, Minister of Roads and Urban Development, announced that good resources have been injected into the National Housing Fund. But apparently, due to the failure to implement the tax on empty houses and luxury houses, there is no significant amount in this fund.

The latest follow-ups regarding the payment of the 200 million tomans facility for the construction of rural housing, which was approved in November of last year with the presence of the president in the Supreme Housing Council, indicate that the payment of this loan depends on the consolidation of credits in the National Housing Fund, which currently has insufficient funds. It is said that in about 45 days, some credit will be injected into this fund and payment of rural housing loans will begin.

Meanwhile, on June 24, the head of the housing foundation refused the president’s order to pay rural housing loans The agreement of the program organization with this order had informed; A promise that has not yet been fulfilled.
