The master plan of passive defense has been completed/planning to connect 5 hospitals to the metro

According to the report of Fars news agency’s urban reporter, Ali Nasiri, the head of the Tehran Crisis Prevention and Management Organization, stated at the meeting of the Tehran Crisis Management Headquarters on the issue of planning to deal with possible future floods: We are pleased to hold the first meeting of the Passive Defense Committee of Tehran Municipality. The non-active defense was formed according to the order of the Supreme Leader and in less than two decades of its activity, it has made a successful structuring.

He added: formalizing the inactive defense committee and its subordinate working groups is among the orders of today’s meeting; 12 working groups have been formed under the non-operating defense committee of the municipality; In the previous period, the secretariat of this committee was located in the deputy of regional affairs, but in this period, it was transferred to the crisis prevention and management organization.

Nasiri continued about the actions that have taken place in this area recently: the master plan of passive defense has reached 99% from 60% progress and is ready to be unveiled. Also, the study plan to increase security for 6 buildings is being pursued and carried out; In addition to this, the pursuit of solving the Nik Pasandi tunnel problem and the pursuit of connecting selected hospitals to the metro are also underway; We have 5 hospitals that are less than 50 meters away from the metro, and we hope that they will be connected to the metro, which includes Milad and Firozabadi hospitals.

Ribes of Tehran Crisis Prevention and Management Organization explained about the proposed resolutions of the meeting: We hope to connect one of the 5 hospitals to the subway this year, as well as increase the safety factor of the subway, prepare a 3D database of subsurface spaces, build an inactive defense park, study Passive defense in development lines and new metro lines, preparation of passive defense attachment for all large-scale projects in Tehran municipality, feasibility studies of removing the gas supply network of Tehran metropolis and replacing it with electricity are among these approvals.
