According to Mehr reporter of the specialized meeting, the week of Islamic education with the theme of “family and education” was held this morning with the presence of the Minister of Education Yousef Nouri and a number of parents of students as representatives of the Parents and Teachers Association.
At the beginning of this meeting, Asghar Bagherzadeh, Deputy Minister of Education and Culture of the Ministry of Education, stated that family education is the main pillar; He said: Family is the main pillar in all educational issues and we need cooperation and partnership with families. In this partnership, the best way is to cooperate with the association of parents and teachers.
Bagherzadeh said that for the first time we paid attention to family hymns; He said: This year, students sang hymns with their families and performed cultural activities. This is just the beginning of our cultural work.
He stated: Paying attention to popular networking, reducing the motivation of teachers to implement new educational methods, involving parents in school policy making and implementing extracurricular activities, teaching parents educational methods, providing counseling to vulnerable families, creating an atmosphere of empathy. Among teachers and families, paying more attention to research, testing and equipping school laboratories was one of the issues that families addressed to the Minister of Education in this meeting.
Complaints about the sale of cigarettes to students and the disorder of school services
Another parent complained that shopkeepers and newspaper stalls sell tobacco products to students without any prohibition. He said: I want you, Mr. Nouri, and your group to take action to approve the law banning the sale of tobacco products to people under the age of eighteen.
Also, another parent, criticizing the disorganized state of school services, asked the minister to entrust the management of each school’s service to the parents’ and teachers’ association of that school.
