According to Mehr news agency, quoted by TOLO News, “Zamir Kabulov”, Russia’s special representative for Afghanistan affairs, announced today, Wednesday, that the meeting of foreign ministers of Afghanistan’s neighboring countries will be held in Samarkand on April 13 (April 24).

According to this media, important events in Afghanistan will be discussed and exchanged in this meeting.

The special representative of Russia in Afghanistan continued in this regard: We have important events regarding Afghanistan in the near future. A meeting at the level of the foreign ministers of the neighboring countries of Afghanistan and Russia will be held on April 13 in Samarkand, where Afghanistan will be discussed.

“Zamir Kabulov” said about Group 5, which was recently created by Moscow and Tehran to resolve the Afghanistan issue: This group has not achieved any progress so far due to Pakistan’s inconsistency regarding India’s presence.

On the other hand, Sohail Shaheen, head of the political office of the Taliban in Qatar, said that the representative of the Taliban government should be invited to such meetings.
