According to the Fars news agency’s music correspondent, the press conference of the national and international festival “Fajr Anthem” was held on Sunday, March 6, 2015 at the Basij Cultural and Artistic Creations Center.

The meeting was held in the presence of Mohammad Golriz, Chairman of the Scientific Committee, and Mostafa Zibaei, Nejad, Secretary of the Fajr National and International Song Festival, in the meeting hall of the Basij Center for Cultural and Artistic Creations.

Mustafa Zibaeinejad, the secretary of the national section of the festival, while explaining the presence of the participants, presented the statistics of this event and said: the first stage of the festival call has passed and the festival will be held in two provincial and national stages, the national stage will be televised. In the international section, we have set a time until June to send the effect. Due to the demand of the national anthem groups, we had to extend the deadline for submitting works until March 27.

He added: “According to the statistics obtained, 2670 groups have registered on the festival website, of which 1970 groups have registered their works.” This year, we saw a good event in the provinces in the field of sending works. In the anthem production section of the 1336 festival, a work of work has been produced and participated in the festival. In the Acapella section (unaccompanied accompaniment and music and instrument company), 377 works were submitted to the secretariat, in the re-reading section, 1233 works were registered, and in the idea section, 318 works were registered.

The secretary of the national section of the Fajr National and International Anthem Festival explained about the special section of Shahid Soleimani: In this section, 418 works have been sent to the festival secretariat. Now the provincial arbitration stage is underway and about 6 provinces have done the arbitration work and the arbitration program of 25 provinces will be done on Thursday and Friday this week so that we can complete the provincial arbitration stage by the end of the week. From each province, a work selected by the jury and a work selected by the people will reach the final part of the Fajr Song Festival by broadcasting their works on radio and television. Also, at the end of Nowruz 1401, the selected works of the people will be announced through the secretariat of the festival, and in 31 provinces, about 310 groups will be honored by the festival headquarters.

Zibainejad said in the final part of his statistical report: “In Tehran, we also saw a good reception from the groups and 275 groups have announced their presence in the festival after the call.” We also have a big anthem celebration that this event will be held in the presence of various groups and coaches in Tehran and the province on April 25 or 26 next year in Milad Tower in Tehran.

Following this meeting, Mohammad Golriz, Chairman of the Scientific Committee of the Fajr National and International Anthem Festival, began his speech with the views of the Supreme Leader regarding the issue of anthem, and said: “The enemy has made every effort to change our Zandi style.” In the meantime, music is one of the most important points that has been paid more attention in this situation. Unfortunately, due to the cultural invasion of the enemy, we are now in a state of cultural war, and our priority must be to fight the music mafia, both inside and outside the country.
