According to Fars News Agency Health Group, Mohammad Reza Saeini on the occasion of World Men’s Health Week, said: Findings from a qualitative study in Iran show that men’s conflict with family issues and economic concerns, belief in the power of masculinity and ignorance are among the factors that cause Men can care less about their health and use less health services.
He added: “These findings show that men have more incorrect ways of life compared to women, pay less attention to their diseases, often ignore the warning signs and go to medical centers later.”
According to Dr. Saeini, men have more physical ability, which makes it less likely that men will be less able than women. But unfortunately the mortality rate in any age group of men, compared to women, is much higher.

He continued: “About 2% of men have inadequate physical activity and the prevalence of inadequate physical activity among men living in urban areas is 2% higher than in rural areas.”
