The need to define the city’s relationship with women and families

According to Fars report, Maryam Ardabili answered the question whether the state of urban spaces is suitable for the presence of women or not. He stated: All the women of the city are facing difficulties in urban spaces. Urban spaces have sub-problems that cause serious problems especially for women, and our approach to this problem requires defining the relationship between the city and women and families.

He stated that the more the all-round feminine perspective that takes into account the needs of the whole family takes place in the space of urban management, the more livable, affordable, facilitated, smooth and humane this space is for families. It will be better, he added: One approach in this matter is that the city management with the help of elites and managers make decisions that are only for the benefit of women and families.

Ardabili continued: If the dignity of a woman’s place is respected and her opinion and view on urban conditions are enlightened and approved, the illumination of a woman’s motherly view of the city can make the atmosphere of our city more livable and humane for everyone. Moreover, we have examples where women’s extraordinary ideas have turned the threat of the neighborhood into an opportunity to live happily in that neighborhood.

The Director General of Women’s Affairs of Tehran Municipality emphasized that we should look at women as a solution to urban issues and added: These women, who are fragrant air in the atmosphere of the family and the city, have ideas that if these ideas are exploited, they will definitely lead to There will be positive changes. In this regard, we have started a series of works that require the participation of all women in the society, and we, as city management, should fully welcome these ideas.

The Director General of Women’s Affairs of Tehran Municipality, speaking in a TV program, said: Women should be able to create their own lives, and in this way, their maternal and social roles and their charitable actions complement each other.
