According to the report of Fars News Agency’s Urban Group, the second meeting of the Inactive Defense Committee of Tehran Municipality in the new period of urban management was held with the aim of examining the position of the Inactive Defense Committee, its specialized working groups and following up on the approvals of the previous meeting with the presence of the Mayor of Tehran. The deputy of municipal regional affairs, the head of the crisis prevention and management organization of Tehran city, the deputies and managers of this organization, the mayors of the regions, the heads of the crisis management and passive defense departments of the 22 regions and another gathering of city managers was held, Dr. Alireza Zakani, the mayor of Tehran, on the need for serious attention He stressed the issue of passive defense and the activities of the passive defense committee of the municipality and considered the effective actions of this committee to be important in increasing the safety of the city.

Also, in this meeting, Dr. Ali Nasiri, head of the Tehran Crisis Prevention and Management Organization, pointed out that 13 specialized working groups under the activity of this committee are working, and presented a report on holding quarterly meetings and following up on the approvals of this committee and its specialized working groups.

In addition to introducing the specialized working groups, he described the structure of these working groups, introduced their heads and members, and then referring to the resolutions of the previous meeting, explained the actions taken and presented a report in this regard.
