The Omicron Corona re-virtualized American universities

Some universities warn that if the new wave of coronavirus does not subside, virtual classes will continue for longer.

The Associated Press reported Saturday that local time, Harvard University is looking to hold classes online during the first three weeks of the new year, and has announced that face-to-face classes will be held in late January if conditions allow.

The University of Chicago has delayed the start of its new course and plans to hold the first two weeks of the New Year winter semester online. Other US universities, including Michigan State University, have invited students to the university but offer classes virtually.

Many universities hope that within a week or two, the United States will overcome the current corona wave caused by the highly contagious Omicron strain. However, the rise of coronary heart disease in the United States has created a great deal of uncertainty about whether to start college.

For some students, distance learning is becoming commonplace. Many universities in the United States and around the world used e-learning to hold classes last year, but some worry that returning to e-learning classes may take more than a week or two.

“The Omicron strain spread during a bad time, the last two weeks of the fall semester,” said Dr. Lynn Goldman, president of George Washington University of Public Health. There is not much time now to prepare for the spring semester.

The university was among many American educational institutions that saw an increase in coronary heart disease in the days leading up to the winter break. The university recorded an average of more than 80 cases of coronary heart disease during the final exams. Although recent cases of coronary heart disease at this university have had mild symptoms, almost all of the new infections were among students who received at least two doses of coronary artery vaccine.

Some other universities in the United States have delayed the new semester without offering distance learning classes. Syracuse University has postponed its semester by one week.

A number of other universities continue to offer face-to-face classes, saying that full masking and vaccination with a third dose reduces the health risks of coronavirus.

Students will attend classes at North Eastern University in Boston, which has made injecting a third dose of Corona mandatory. University officials said the current focus is on preventing new diseases or hospitalizing students.

According to IRNA, US states now have the highest number of cases and hospitalizations of coronary patients. Some US governors have asked the US National Guard for help.
The New York Governor’s Office announced that more than 76,500 new cases of the virus were registered in New York on Thursday. This is a new record for coronation in New York.

The number of coronary patients admitted to New York has also reached 8,000, which is an increase of 8% compared to the previous day. Hospitalization rates in New York have risen about 20 percent since Monday.
A new wave of Omicron Corona strains is spreading across the United States, bringing cases and hospitalizations to unprecedented levels and re-affecting daily life.

Experts warn that it still takes weeks to cross this wave. Anthony Fauci, chief infectious disease specialist and senior medical adviser to US President Joe Biden, told CNBC that Unvaccinated people will probably need more than a few weeks or until the end of January to reach the peak of coronary heart disease.

About 62 percent of the US population is fully vaccinated, according to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Meanwhile, about 33% of fully vaccinated adults have received their third dose, which experts say is important for protection against severe illnesses caused by various strains.
