The Omid Fund paid 56 billion rials to the West Azerbaijan Women’s Microfinance Fund



In an interview with IRNA on Saturday, Salah Golmohammadi added: “These loans have been repaid over the past two years in order to carry out agricultural and production activities, with priority given to group activities.”

He stated: This amount of facilities has been paid to the applicants in this province in the form of 128 job creation files.

The director of the West Azerbaijan-Omid Entrepreneurship Fund said: “3,700 rural women in this province are members of 123 rural women’s neighborhood funds.”

Gol Mohammadibian said: Each fund has about 30 active members to improve the livelihoods of rural families and women by benefiting from the services of micro-funds of rural women’s neighborhoods.

He stated: The members of each micro-fund of the rural women neighborhood can benefit from the facilities of the micro-fund of the neighborhoods.

The director of the Omid Entrepreneurship Fund of West Azerbaijan said: “Raising the living standards of families in rural areas and also increasing the income level of rural households is another goal of launching micro-funds in rural women.”

Golmohammadi emphasized: “Today, women’s participation is one of the basic tools of development and one of the main areas of women’s participation in rural society is to create small businesses and enter entrepreneurship or self-employment.”

Omid Entrepreneurship Fund, based on the new approach of supporting market-oriented micro-businesses with micro-financing method, has important and neglected tasks in the chain of government support for production in the private sector.
