In this event, which was held in the form of a press conference, first, the different Basij districts of the provinces gave a webinar report on their activities in the field of family and youth to Sardar Gholamreza Soleimani; The head of the country’s Basij Organization presented.

Social damage should be the greatest sorrow for the leader of the Islamic Republic

In the continuation of this meeting, Mohammad Abbasi; The deputy minister of interior and the head of the social affairs organization spoke and said: We are witnessing very good actions in the mobilization of the provinces. For example, a very comprehensive and useful family counseling plan has been planned in Fars province, and it was decided to use this plan for the whole country.

He added: comprehensive and serious programs should be for all Iranian people. We all have a duty to protect the people against the enemy’s influence. The leader also said that social damage is the greatest sorrow of the manager and the official of the Islamic Republic.

Abbasi said: Therefore, we should appreciate and respect this grassroots act of Basij’s promotion document.

Basij promotion document is people-based and specialized

This document is completely specialized and also religious.

He added: The first step, and actually the floor of the amount that is foreseen in the Basij promotion document, is the opening of 500 counseling centers, but we see that, for example, in Isfahan province, where the opening of 3 centers was on the agenda, 10 centers have been opened.

For this reason, we saw in the provincial reports that friends mentioned titles such as Green House or Mehr House. But now all these centers operate under the title of family counseling service centers.

Visiting a psychologist should not be limited to times of illness

The next speaker of this meeting is Mohammad Hatami; He was the head of the country’s psychological organization. Regarding the issue of social harm and Basij’s entry into this issue, he said: Dealing with social and psychological harm is a national necessity, and for this reason, I consider Basij’s entry into it very fortunate.

Hatami continued: In meetings at the Ministry of Interior, we have categorized social harms, especially those resulting from the Corona period. The point that must be acknowledged is that the relevant institutions have not taken timely measures to deal with social harms as they should and have not performed satisfactorily in this regard. The World Health Organization has announced that the social damage caused by Corona has increased by 10% in the countries of the world.

He said: Referrals to psychologists and counselors should not be limited to cases of mental illness, but should be prevented and such referrals should be for better living and getting solutions.

We are engaged in a combined war

The final speaker of this meeting, Sardar Gholamreza Soleimani, while congratulating Basij Week, said: “We are now engaged in a combined war.” Combined war is a combination of all the components used in soft war, semi-hard war and hard war. The same incidents that we observed in the country these days show that the focus on combined warfare has increased in the media, virtual space and cultural and social categories.

Sardar Soleimani added: The enemy is trying to use security components against the Islamic Republic. But since the authority of the republican system is high and we have a high power against security and military threats, they do not do anything. And this is not considered a threat to us in a combined war. But the cultural and social components are important because they need more accuracy, sensitivity and researches to understand them.

The head of the Basij organization said: We must bring together the governance capacities and get help from the people. Because people should come to the scene to play a role in facing social harms and increasing social capital. This approach is commendable in hybrid warfare.

What may hit us is a violent psychological attack

He added: “Everyone who attends these counseling centers today is a soldier of the Holy Defense and we are now in the conditions of the Holy Defense.” The enemy cannot do military and security work for us. But what may hit us, God forbid, is in the components of soft war. I call it panic attacks. What the enemy media creates with lies and creating doubts in the minds is an example of a powerful psychological and media attack.

Sardar Soleimani said: We have an extensive opinion polling network in the country, which regularly conducts monitoring based on which we are trying to prevent and treat harms such as divorce, unemployment, problems that arose during the Corona era, etc.

The head of the Basij organization added: Basij, as a grassroots organization of the revolution, has put the prevention of social harms on the agenda by seeking the help of the people, responsible institutions, scientific and academic centers of the country, and thinkers of the country, so that the social capital of the revolution can advance.
