According to Mehr reporter, the meeting of the Supreme Labor Council with the presence of social partners lasted from the morning of Friday 26 March to the morning of Saturday 27 March and ended without results. This meeting was attended by the ministers of labor, economy and silence and the representative of the labor community and employers was held at the place of the Ministry of Labor.

Sayyed Soult Mortazavi, the minister of cooperation, labor and social welfare, appeared among the journalists after the meeting and said about the negotiation process: In the past years, the three-way discussion was followed by expressing different points of view, and the same process was carried out this year.

He added: Representatives of different groups reached a common point of view.

Referring to some disagreements, he stated: There are some controversial issues that require more expert work.

The Minister of Cooperation, Labor and Social Welfare said: It was decided that social partners should consult with their target community. After the necessary consultations, we hope that the final result will be achieved. Therefore, the next meeting was postponed to Sunday evening, March 28.

According to Mehr reporter, speculations indicate that the percentage of increase in workers’ wages for 1402 will be between 20 and 24 percent.
