In recent days and due to the wave of returning from trips, we have seen a 21% growth of road operations in the country. Since the beginning of Nowruz trips, relief has been provided to more than 53,000 compatriots with the efforts of rescuers and their presence in 3,600 relief operations.

So far, more than 20,000 Nowruz travelers have been provided with on-site outpatient treatment services by Red Crescent rescuers, and during this period, rescuers have provided emergency accommodation to around 4,000 people due to critical conditions on the roads.

Due to the arrival of the cold and rainy front in the country and the heavy rain in the northwest, west, north and northeast regions of the country, slippery roads as well as snowfall in the heights and the possibility of rivers flooding; The concern of the relief organizations is the return of travelers from Nowruz trips and also the prevention of accidents caused by weather changes for the compatriots on the 12th and 13th of April.

Red Crescent rescuers are on standby 24 hours a day to provide services to the people during the last 2 days of Nowruz, but the cooperation of people and travelers is needed to reduce the risks caused by weather accidents. Therefore, it is necessary for the compatriots to manage their trip in the last 2 days of Nowruz.

The travel time should be adjusted so as not to hit the high traffic hours at the entrance of the cities. Do not choose the side ways to arrive earlier. Do not travel at night as much as possible and drive carefully.

Compatriots who go outdoors for recreation and sightseeing on the 12th and 13th should be careful of snow and cold in the high altitudes, the possibility of rivers flooding and slippery roads due to sudden rains and torrential rains. Avoid being separated by and along rivers.
