The presence of shared electric cars in Tehran

According to the Fars news agency’s urban group, Jalal Bahrami pointed out that in the field of clean transportation, we are following a topic called simple transportation, which includes everything from bicycles to shared electric cars. “The bicycle budget has been removed in the 1402 budget, it is not true, and we are also pursuing the development of bicycles in the field of clean transportation.”

He continued: “In 1402, we will see electric scooters and shared electric bicycles in Tehran. Due to the large difference in level from north to south of Tehran, citizens had problems with bicycles that were in the city in the past, and it was not possible for some to use them, but with electric bicycles, these problems will be less.

Referring to plans of the city administration for the use of shared electric motors by citizens, Bahrami announced: “Shared two-seater electric cars are one of the municipal plans in the field of developing clean transportation, which if domestic manufacturers can produce it.” If they have it, we will supply it from domestic producers and otherwise we will negotiate with the government to import them, and the city administration is looking for the development of clean transportation, including bicycles.”

The deputy of transport and traffic of Tehran municipality explained about the removal of shared bicycles from the city of Tehran, which is said to be due to the delay in concluding new contracts: “The shared bicycles have been contracted until now, and the other side of the services they provide they would receive money that we have asked them to complete their combined portfolio and this contract will be closed jointly.”
