The head of the Tehran Nuts and Dried Fruits Union added: “According to this, the price of each kilogram of Yalda night nuts with Basluq has been set at a minimum of 150 and a maximum of 250,000 Tomans, and the price of each kilogram of Yalda night nuts without Basluq has been set at a minimum of 180 and a maximum of 270,000 Tomans.”

He said: “The variety and quality of products is very high, so in terms of quality, the supply price of Yalda night nuts may be lower and higher than the above prices.”

Referring to the sharp rise in the price of nuts and dried fruits this year, Ahmadi said: “Sales of these products have been reduced to a quarter compared to last year, so to encourage people to buy these products this year by reducing sellers’ profits, the minimum possible profit for the supply of night nuts We have considered Yalda.

He stated: The minimum price of each kilogram of Yalda night nuts was 110,000 Tomans last year, which we increased to 30,000 Tomans this year with a 30% increase in price, while the price of most nuts and dried products has increased between 70 and 100%. .

Ahmadi stated that the price of each kilogram of Japanese seeds has increased by 100% compared to last year, adding that the main reason for the increase in this product is the decrease in production due to water shortage.

He said: the price of pistachios has increased by about 30 to 40 percent compared to last year.

The head of the union of sellers of nuts and dried fruits stated: the production of products such as pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds and walnuts has also decreased compared to last year due to water shortage.
