According to Arya Heritage Report, citing the Public Relations Department of the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Crafts of Semnan Province, Hamed Adel said on Thursday, July 15, 1402, at the meeting of the Bastam and Kharghan Cultural Heritage Base Strategic Board: Dismantling the metal structure of the mezzanine roof of the Bastam Jame Mosque, which started twenty years ago. It was built in this part and the plan of creating a fixed or movable cover was examined.

Bastam and Kharghan base manager added: Considering the historical values ​​of Jame Mosque, preservation of its internal and external landscape, the emphasis on the addition of the metal structure of the roof and the design of the new cover of the courtyard was brought up and emphasized.

Adel said: In this meeting, the general director of cultural heritage of Semnan province, deputy and experts of cultural heritage of the province, members of the strategic board, plan consultants and representative of Imam Juma Bastam were present in this meeting.

Jame Mosque is located in the south of Bastam historical complex and is one of the buildings of Ghazan Khan period. This building was built between 700 and 706 AH. Its naves were built in the west and north, and during the Qajar era, the eastern nave was added to the mosque.
