According to the judicial reporter of Fars news agency, Hojjat al-Islam Mohammad Mossadegh, in a meeting with the head of the Supreme Court of India, while expressing his satisfaction with the membership of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, expressed the readiness of the judicial system of the Islamic Republic of Iran to cooperate with the Indian judicial system in the fields of He emphasized various aspects of law enforcement and justice, including the protection of human rights.

Mossadegh added: The basic policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran is to support the oppressed around the world based on their humanity, and we expect India, as a powerful country and the second most populous country in the world, to cooperate with the Islamic Republic of Iran in this regard.

Referring to the bilateral agreements between India and the Islamic Republic of Iran, the first deputy of the Judiciary demanded that the grounds for the extradition of criminals and the transfer of convicts and Iranian prisoners to Iran be provided.

The President of the Supreme Court of India also pointed to the cultural commonalities between India and Iran and the importance of Muslims in India and the very deep friendship between the two nations of Iran and India. : In the Indian judicial system, the rights of the Muslim community, like those of other religions, are guaranteed with complete neutrality.

In the continuation of this meeting, which was held in a very friendly atmosphere with the presence of the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in New Delhi and the head of the Center for Statistics and Information Technology of the Judiciary, the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of India raised questions about the structure and judicial organization of the Islamic Republic of Iran. First, the judiciary answered their questions.

In the continuation of this meeting, the two sides discussed and examined various judicial issues of the two countries, including the methods of proceedings, how to attract and promote judges, local and national judicial structures, and the competencies of different judicial authorities in the two countries.
