According to Fars news agency, Hossein Fazli, deputy head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Medical Center of the Red Crescent Society, said: “The call to recruit medical staff to attend the Pilgrimages under new conditions at the Red Crescent Pilgrimage and Hajj Medical Center has started.”

He continued: The Red Crescent Society Hajj and Pilgrimage Medical Center has sent medical staff to the clinics of this center in the cities of Najaf Ashraf and Karbala Ma’ali to provide voluntary medical services to pilgrims in 16-day periods.

Fazli continued by stating that in previous years, these 28-day missions were carried out: due to the length of the period, some doctors were not able to participate in these missions, for this reason, the length of the period was reduced to facilitate the dispatch of doctors.

Fazli further stated: Doctors and paramedics including (nurses and emergency medical experts) can register, complete and update information in the recruitment and dispatch system of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Medical Center at the address REG.HMC.IR .

The Deputy Director of Hajj and Pilgrimage Medical Center of Red Crescent Society explained about the conditions of participation in these courses: Applicants who are not registered in the recruiting and dispatching system of Hajj and Pilgrimage Medical Center must first register in the system and then participate in the call. Applicants whose registration information is incomplete must first complete all the steps and forms of the software system and then participate in the call.

Fazli added: To participate in these courses, doctors must have a practice license and be at least 60 years old, nurses must have at least a bachelor’s degree in nursing and be at least 50 years old, and emergency medical experts must have a nursing degree, bachelor’s or associate’s degree in emergency medicine, and be at least 50 years old. He added: The dispatch of these courses will be short-term due to the provision of voluntary services.
