It is for managing traffic, facilitating the movement of Nowruz passengers and dealing with dangerous drivers, that is, those who do not respect the privacy and rights of citizens and create accidents for themselves and others with haste.
The police’s red line during Nowruz is 1,402 incidents-causing violations; especially illegal speeding and overtaking; In such a situation, the police will deal with the violators without any tolerance, in such a way that if the drivers commit two accidents-causing violations at the same time, in addition to applying the law, the car will be impounded in the parking lot for 72 hours.
The traffic police has always stated that speeding and overtaking, not paying attention to the front, fatigue and sleepiness are among the most important causes of accidents and overturning of cars, but we are still faced with cases where some drivers rush and speed. Unauthorized overtaking, especially on two-way roads and violation of laws and regulations, endangers the lives of the car occupants and can create danger for other cars, which the police will deal with without complacency.
