According to the Fars news agency, citing the media center of the Judiciary, Hojjat-ul-Islam Seyyed Kazem Mousavi, Chief Justice of Fars province, stated that in line with the recent order of the head of the Judiciary after the victory of the national football team, 204 prisoners were released from Fars prisons. 55 of those released are rioters who were arrested in recent incidents.
He stated that the conditions of a number of other recently arrested as well as prisoners of other crimes are being implemented with the order of reduction of punishment and the application of legal amnesties, and added: soon the conditions for the release of other prisoners will be provided in the same direction.
The Chief Justice of Fars, emphasizing that the main agents, stage-hands and leaders inciting riots, as well as those who damage public and private property, have been excluded from the investigation of the cases, said: the cases of the freed persons were investigated and by issuing judicial orders Their freedom was secured and they returned to their families.
