Montazeri continued: A country that has rich talents in scientific debates, therefore, by managing and providing a platform, it should be taken to cultivate views based on the attachment of the justice of the distribution of human capital in the field of health.
Referring to the shortage of specialist doctors in deprived areas, this official said: the distribution of human capital in the field of health and safety at the level of the country should not have a significant difference, while during our trips to different provinces, we see that the deprived and less privileged areas for at least Physical, medical and health needs do not have to pay various expenses and long trips.
The second vice-chairman of the Cultural Commission emphasized that the Ministry of Health should be responsible for the resistance to the increase in the recruitment of specialists, and stated: The Parliament’s policy is to adopt a plan in this regard because it cannot be neutral towards the basic needs.
He pointed out that in the near future the country will face an aging crisis and also an increase in the elderly population, which will manifest itself more in many areas of the country, including deprived areas, and added: the lack of specialized doctor capacities in the country will cause In the future, the country’s health system will face a serious problem, and if in the current situation, there is no thought of increasing the capacity of specialist doctors, we will face a crisis in the future. Another point is that due to the lack of doctor capacity in the past years, the age of the medical community and their retirement will become problematic in the coming years, so planning in this area will be very necessary.
Montazeri said: “If there is a legal gap in the field of recruitment of experts, the parliament will roll up its sleeves in line with the plan to respond to the needs and will make the monitoring more active.”
He said: The issue of shortage of doctors in the country, especially in deprived areas, has been the focus of many experts in the field of health and treatment in the past years, and currently there is a problem of shortage of doctors in some parts of our country, and no effective measures have been taken in this field until now. To date, except for some meetings to increase the medical capacity in the last few months, there have been no meetings, but due to the aging crisis in the country, necessary measures must be taken to increase the capacity of specialized medical facilities in the country.
