The role of the Cooperative Development Bank in eliminating deprivation from Sistan and Baluchestan is prominent


According to the Iran Economist, Maliki, the representative of Zahedan people, stated in the meeting of the Provincial Banks Coordination Commission, which was hosted by the Cooperative Development Bank of Sistan and Baluchestan province with the presence of the honorable representative of Zahedan people in the Islamic Consultative Assembly: It is prominent in Sistan and Baluchestan province.

In this meeting, Mohammad Ali Mohtaram, Branch Manager of Sistan and Baluchestan Cooperative Development Bank, presented a report on the bank’s performance in creating employment in the province focusing on the payment of facilities to job creation and home business applicants, as well as a report on banking system challenges and investment barriers in the province. Sistan and Baluchestan and made suggestions to address these challenges.

“We are pleased to be with the producers and bear the main burden of economic development in the country,” he said.

Al-Maliki, a representative of the people of Zahedan, also said at the meeting: “The most key provinces of the country are the border provinces, and these provinces are considered as great economic capacities for the country.” Sistan and Baluchestan province, considering all its borders with neighboring countries and having a commercial port and its proximity to open waters, has a special importance and position at the national and international levels.

Al-Maliki added: “We are looking for the construction of large projects in the province, one of which is currently under review and obtaining a license is the petrochemical project in Mirjavah city, which has a 100-hectare land in this city for this project.” He said: “With the help of banks and the creation of large projects in the province, steps can be taken to develop and eliminate the deprivation of the province. Some banks, including the Cooperative Development Bank, have performed well in this field by providing sustainable employment facilities in rural and nomadic areas.”
