The second generation Google Nest Cam security camera with a base price of $ 99.99

Google announced that the second generation Nest Cam will be available today. This is a wired camera that helps you see what’s going on in the house, while matching your home décor. The camera is designed to be placed on a table or wall and is available in four colors: snow, linen, fog and sand with a maple base.

The new Nest Cam starts at $ 99.99 while the base maple base version is $ 119.99. This version also has HDR processing on an advanced device and the machine learning power is ten times higher than the previous versions and can detect vehicles and people. Google’s product also has three hours of video history with adjustable activity areas that allow the camera to focus without having to subscribe to specific areas of your home.

If your Wi-Fi is turned off, the Nest Cam has an internal storage to hold videos when you reconnect to Wi-Fi. Nest Cam integrates with Google Home app where you can control and view the camera at any time. You can also set your own notifications along with activity areas. Optional Nest Aware subscription increases your video history to 30 days, and Nest Aware Plus subscription includes 60 days of video history and 10 days of continuous video history. Both subscriptions include face recognition to identify people you know.
