He added: If this fear is not managed by the parents and the parents cannot adopt effective strategies to cope and control it, this fear may continue and accompany the child with the first official separation of the parents from the child, which usually happens at school, and problems may arise. create for parents and children.

A member of the university’s faculty considered the plan to make preschool compulsory for children one of the positive changes in the education system in recent years and said: “This plan has made children somewhat prepared to attend classes in the first grade of elementary school.”

Esrafilian pointed out that part of coping with this fear goes back to the pre-school era: children who have a better relationship with their mother and a mother who has always been available to her child and has been able to overcome the critical period of child anxiety which is basically before two If he spends the year well, his child will cope with this issue more easily.

This psychologist considered the presence of parents and emotional support for the child to be effective in the child’s adulthood and stated: If a child is accompanied by this fear during school, parents and school guardians must take this fear seriously and avoid comparing the child. Avoid with other children.

The university faculty member added: If we listen to the child’s feelings and hear the reasons for his fear, we can control part of our child’s fear and anxiety. Besides this, the most important step to treat fear in a child is to explain to the child until what time he will stay at school and to reassure the child that we are with him.

Esrafilian warned the parents and guardians of the school that if this fear and anxiety in the child is not taken seriously and no planning is done to control it, it can turn into mental disorders such as depression, social anxiety and obsession in the future.
