According to Fars news agency, the opening ceremony of the first urban train driving technical course was attended by the head of the Scientific and Applied Training Center of the Traffic Transportation Deputy, the head of the Scientific and Applied Training Institute of Tehran Municipality, the head of the Comprehensive Scientific and Applied University of the East Branch, a group of vice presidents and managers of the company. At the beginning of this ceremony, the head of the Scientific and Applied Education Center of the Traffic Transportation Deputy, while congratulating the students, said: Today, at the same time as the beginning of the academic year, we are witnessing the beginning of the first technical course of urban train driving.

Mustafa Ghazizadeh Hashemi added: The field of urban train management will be taught in this center for the first time this year after studies and investigations have been conducted and through legal procedures.

The head of the scientific and applied training center of the traffic transportation deputy stated that 40 students have been recruited for this field and said: Considering the needs of Tehran’s urban railway, the approach of conductors to retirement and the increase of lines, there is a need to train capable human resources more than It is felt in advance.

Ghazizadeh Hashemi pointed out: Train conductor students will be able to obtain 8 jobs, the most important of which is metro train conductor.

He pointed out that after passing the general and theory units at the Fathabad terminal, the students pass the specialized train station course using a train simulator, and continued: The equipment of the Fathabad train station has been updated.

In the end, the head of the scientific and applied training center of the traffic transportation vice-chancellor appreciated the support of the transportation and traffic vice-chancellor and the follow-ups of the Tehran and Suburbs Metro Operation Company to start this course.

Shadman Moinuddin, the first graduate of the leadership course, while wishing success and success to the new students, said: “Today’s ceremony reminded him of the ceremony that was held 25 years ago for the leaders of Metro Group 1 at the Metro Engineering College.

Pointing out that it is possible to negotiate with the council and the municipality to attract train driver students, he added: “Currently, we are the exclusive provider of all the trainings of Tehran municipality, and this has a good added value for the municipality.”

At the end of the ceremony, the first city train conductor and railway locomotive driver were honored with a plaque.
