The Supreme Literacy Council was formed after 7 years – Mehr News Agency Iran and world’s news

According to the reporter of Mehr, Alireza Abdi said in the meeting of the Literacy Support Council of Khorramshahr, Abadan and Arvandkanar before noon this Sunday: The literacy movement is aimed at achieving intellectual and cultural independence in the society.
He stated that people’s capacities are the most effective solution in the field of literacy and continued: Imam Khomeini’s attention to the field of literacy is unique.
Abdi stated that the Imam’s (RA) message regarding literacy has various and wide dimensions, adding: Jihadi thought is a path-breaker in literacy and without a doubt, transformation in society starts with reading and writing.
The Deputy Minister of Education announced the formation of the Supreme Literacy Council after 7 years and emphasized: designing an action plan with literacy at the province and city level is a necessity.
