The US and the other side are responsible for any failure of the Vienna talks – Mehr News Agency | Iran and world’s news



According to Mehr News Agency, in an interview with CNN, the Iranian Foreign Minister expressed optimism about the results of the Vienna talks on lifting sanctions on Iran.

According to the report, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian told CNN: “We are not as close to reaching an agreement in the Vienna talks as we are now, and we can reach an agreement in the next few hours or days if some issues are resolved.”

He added that the new Iranian government is determined to reach a good agreement with the other side.

Amir Abdullahian, meanwhile, stressed that the United States and the other side would be responsible for any failure of the talks.

“We believe that if the talks fail, the United States and the other side will be responsible,” he said. The Islamic Republic of Iran has shown itself to be serious and has proved that it is really looking for an agreement and we are trying to reach an agreement.

It is worth mentioning that our Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian also emphasized in his speech during the Munich Security Summit: Iran is ready to reach a good agreement in the shortest possible time, provided that the other side is ready to make the necessary political decisions.
